Red Bull Music Festival New York returns this May for a sixth year with another diverse program of original events, world premieres, and talks with icons and innovators. Talent added to the diverse list of names previously announced include industrial pioneer Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, prolific experimental percussionist Greg Fox and bassist Trevor Dunn joining the Dream Machine shows; Edan will join the opening night party, as will Kid Creole & the Coconuts co-conspirator Coati Mundi in collaboration with Wiki; and more. Red Bull Music Festival New York will see some highly anticipated live performances at the festival include Fever Ray, Tristan Perich; the immersive concert installation Dream Machine, led by director-musician Sophia Brous, multi-instrumentalist/composer Dave Harrington, and designers Wild DogsJohn MausCareful on the Pavement; and the third annual Brujas Anti-Prom will close out the festival, celebrating the limit-shattering collective of young radical gender-self-determined activists.
