The Canadian indie pop band Alvvays, band formed in 2011, originating from Toronto will soon perform on the Austin City Limits. Their ‘self titled’ debut album was released in 2014 and their newest album, ‘Antisocialities’ was released on September 2017, both, gaining positive critics from local and national alternative media.
Their sound, according to lead singer Molly Rankin is described as “jangle pop” and “if old people asks, I say it sounds like The Cranberries.”
The band had played at Glastonbury and Coachella, and now it’s turn of Austin City Limits 2018. Check them out on the Miller Lite Stage next Friday, set time: 2:45pm – 3:45pm
