The Outside Lands just annonce the food and drink lineup of epic proportions for its eleventh edition. As the first music festival to create a true food and drink experience for its attendees, Outside Lands continues to pioneer festival food offerings. With an unmatched passion for celebrating Northern Californian cuisine, wine and beer, Outside Lands will once again offer over 200 menu options, found within seven unique experiences, including A Taste of the Bay Area, Wine Lands, Beer Lands, Cheese Lands, , Outside Clams, GastroMagic, and Cocktail Magic.
Between A Taste of the Bay Area and VIP, there are 16 exciting new additions in total. In A Taste of the Bay Area, look for Hawker Fare, the Mission District’s Lao/Thai Isan hot spot, which will be serving its Khao Soi Spicy Tamarind & Pork Egg Drop Soup, the award-winning Trestle, a San Francisco favorite applauded for its pop-up at Outside Lands’ Forest Feast in 2016, The Bird with its Spicy Fried Chicken Biscuit Sandwiches, Dumpling Time & Live Sushi Bar and their famous Shrimp and Pork Siu Mai Dumplings and Live Sushi Handrolls, Powder and their playful Taiwanese Shaved Snows, Juice Shop, Cassava, Son’s Addition, to name a few.
With Dave McLean, founder of San Francisco’s Magnolia Brewing Company and a partner in Admiral Maltings, leading the charge, Beer Lands brings together some of Northern California’s most talked about breweries. This year, a total of 30 breweries will showcase California’s highly respected beer culture. Newcomers Old Kan, Holy Craft, Seismic and Sufferfest will join returning favorites like 21st Amendment, Faction Brewing, Local Brewing Company, Bare Bottle, Calicraft and Fort Point.
Wine Lands celebrates 41 top regional winemakers thanks toyhe curator Peter Eastlake who works year-round to craft this lineup with a variety of sommeliers, specialists and many more. our favorites will be back, Turley, Bonny Doon Vineyard, Banshee, Scribe, UNTI, Copain Wines and many more.
GastroMagic, the festival’s culinary stage, will return in an even bigger and better format this year, serving up fantastical and delicious entertainment. Stay tuned for its lineup and programming.
The festival smash hit mixology experience, Cocktail Magic, also returns, completing the trifecta of drink-centric destinations. The menu of shaken and stirred concoctions from the city’s best bars will be revealed in the weeks to come.
