The xx are set to play a pair of intimate shows at Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club this summer on July 26 and 27, between their headlining sets at FYF in Los Angeles and Panorama in New York. The dates are the band’s first in the U.S. since their wildly successful I See You tour last fall.
Fan presales begin tomorrow, May 1 at 10 a.m. local time, with tickets on sale to the public this Thursday, May 3 at 10 a.m. local time. The band has again partnered with Plus 1 to contribute $1 from each ticket sale to a local charity.
Following the release of the band’s third album, ‘I See You‘, in January 2017, The xx embarked on an extensive I See You world tour that saw them performing to millions of fans, including festival headline appearances and a record breaking run of seven nights at London’s legendary Brixton Academy in front of over 35,000 hometown fans.
