Sled Island Music & Arts Festival returns for its 12th installment, and the first wave of artists has been revealed. The festival’s first wave of 2018 artists includes Dirty Projectors, John Maus, Mount Eerie, Grouper and Lido Pimienta.

Also confirmed is a first round of picks from Sled Island 2018 guest curator Deerhoof, including Wye Oak, Cherry Glazerr, Shabazz Palaces, ex-Battles composer Tyondai Braxton, Guerilla Toss, Eucademix (Yuka Honda of Cibo Matto) and Lithics.

The annual festival sets itself apart by presenting a thoughtfully-chosen lineup of music, comedy, film and art in more than 35 venues across Calgary, Alberta from June 20 – 24, 2018. Sled Island’s complete 2018 lineup, including additional headliners, 230 more bands as well as comedy, film, visual art, special events and conference programming will be announced in the coming months.
