The 60th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony was packed with powerful performances. Following Kendrick Lamar‘s fiery act with Bono and The Edge, Lady Gaga came to tone things down. She delivered an emotional rendition of the title track of her 2016 album ‘Joanne’.
“This is for my father’s late sister Joanne,” Gaga said from her piano bench, “this is for love and compassion, even when you can’t understand.” She went on to perform “Million Reasons” at a lit-up grand piano draped in angel wings with Mark Ronson accompanying on the guitar.
