Today, Kali Uchis has unveiled a new song, “After The Storm” featuring longtime friend and collaborator Tyler, The Creator and funk legend Bootsy Collins. The track is the latest from her forthcoming debut album, set for release this spring on Interscope Records/Virgin EMI Records.

We can find solace in the fact that we have to go through the bad stuff to truly get to the good,” says Uchis of the track. “Just because you’re losing at the moment doesn’t mean you’ve lost yet. The storm may be scary now but it’s how your flowers bloom later, and paradise is just beyond the rainbow.

Uchis is currently touring North America with Lana Del Rey with dates in Newark, Philadelphia, Nashville, Austin and beyond. Uchis will play additional headline dates in Chicago, Sacramento and Oakland this spring, as well as this year’s Coachella.
