Following its premiere as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record In The World on BBC Radio 1, “Drum,” the new single from Danish vocalist, songwriter and producer , debuts today—listen here. The track was written by , Charlotte Aitchison aka Charli XCX, Noonie Bao (Avicii, Charlie XCX, Carly Rae Jepsen) and Michael Tucker aka BloodPop and produced by BloodPop (Justin Bieber, Madonna, Grimes).

“Drum is about setting each other free,” says MØ. “Whether it’s an old friend, a lover, a lifetime partner or even yourself, it’s about letting go in order to pursue your dreams, for better or worse. Sometimes we have to accept that we might not have a plan, but that we have to figure out our own shit – take the punches and get stronger – and the same goes for those we care about.”
